As I mentioned in my last blog post, ‘Viva Magenta’ Design Challenge Entry, I have recently started using doodles in my designs. This development conveniently came in December, not long before the beginning of the annual Doodle a Day challenge hosted by Spoonflower and Rhianna Wurman, also known as Ello Lovey. The official announcement says the doodles can be analog or digital; I am starting with pencil drawings and then converting them to digital as time allows.
This being a Doodle a Day challenge, they have posted 31 prompts, once for each day in January. I intend to complete 26 of them. I may use all the prompts for inspiration at some point, but I take Sundays off. So I will not draw from the prompts on those days and will not post those designs as part of the challenge.
